Gastritis is an inflammation of the gastric mucosa not because we have a lot of acid but because of a deficiency. We feel acidity in the esophagus because the sphincter (ring) in the mouth of the stomach is not closing the mouth of the stomach, so acid vapors are released into the esophagus, creating the typical burning sensation in the mouth of the stomach known as gastritis.
The correct pH is achieved by acidifying the stomach with apple cider vinegar and lemon juice diluted in water. A person with advanced gastritis may not tolerate them initially. To achieve this, you can add a little aloe juice or a little honey to the mixture. Over the weeks or months the person will be able to heal the gastric mucosa until they tolerate it.
A person with gastritis can benefit from taking aloe vera shakes (one stalk of the plant is peeled and its contents are blended. Take 1 ounce (30 ml) 3 or more times a day, always on an empty stomach (or 2 hours after a meal or 10 minutes before a meal)
